Sure – you know their name and the company they work with, but do
you really know your REALTOR®?
You may not have thought about it but, your REALTOR® may also:
• Be a mom or a dad
• Be a school volunteer
• Be a charity worker
• Be your son's baseball coach or your daughter's ballet instructor
You might also have seen your REALTOR®:
• Working at a food bank
• Helping a student group at a car wash
• Teaching Sunday School
• Working on a project for school or charity
• Participating in the “Springtime Tallahassee” parade
In other words, REALTORS® are people just like you. They are citizens and parents, and they are interested, and involved, and committed to making our community a better place in which to live and a safer place to raise our families.
REALTORS® typically do not “toot their own horns” about the many good things they do. It is noteworthy, however, to know that the members of the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS® are in the midst of things. Working to ensure that home buyers find the right home and that sellers have the professional services they need, local REALTORS® also lobby for affordable housing while at the same time building houses for Habitat for Humanity, raising money for charity, and participating in a myriad of other worthwhile causes that make our hometown a better place to live. So the next time you see a REALTOR® doing any of these things, remember – we live here, just like you.
