MARKETING MEETINGS - Usually held every Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. An opportunity to network with other members of your Board and market listings you may have. Educational speakers from real estate related professions also speak to help keep you informed on trends and changes in the industry.

BUSINESS MEETINGS - As provided for in the TBR Bylaws, business meetings are generally held monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month at a place and time designated by the Board of Directors to conduct the business of the Board. All members are encouraged to attend and participate. Information concerning dates and times may be found in "Board Briefs" or the TALLAHASSEE REALTOR®.

LENDING LIBRARY - Would you like to increase your knowledge and professionalism on your own schedule? A comprehensive library including books, video tapes, audio cassettes, plat books, and current real estate periodicals is available for loan without charge to Board members (refundable deposit required).

CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS - The Board provides a wide variety of educational programs approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) for specialty course continuing education credit applicable toward the renewal of your Florida real estate license. The number of credit hours varies according to the duration of the course. A current list of all courses scheduled may be found in "Board Briefs" or the TALLAHASSEE REALTOR®.

TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION - Through the purchase of the REALTOR® Enrichment Program (REP), you will be able to take a broad selection of computer classes ranging from basic entry-level courses to advanced classes. These classes give you an entry into a world of high tech information. They are designed to teach you different software packages, how to navigate the web, how to save time by effective use of e-mail, etc. You will have access to over one hundred hours of training in a wide variety of subjects at a fraction of the cost you would pay privately.

TALLAHASSEE REALTOR® - This monthly publication is the Board's leading source of information about real estate in Tallahassee. Covering a wide spectrum of topics, it's your best source for information affecting your daily business and your professional development. Best of all, it's yours free. All expenses are covered by advertising revenue.

BOARD BRIEFS - A weekly newsletter that provides timely information about the Board's programs, activities and plans. This newsletter is emailed to all members and faxed to all member offices.

MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE - The Board, through a contract with Fidelity National Information Solutions, provides a highly sophisticated multiple listing network which gives you instant access to listings in Leon County and the surrounding areas. A wireless accessible network is offered for those with internet capable cell phones. Comprehensive training classes are offered monthly and a computer is available at the Board office for your use. Register for the next available class by accessing the Internet Member Services (IMS) section of the TBR website (www.TBRnet.org).

LEGAL SERVICES - Tallahassee Board of REALTORS® General Counsel, Joe Boyd, writes monthly articles for the Tallahassee REALTOR®, and is a monthly speaker, usually the 3rd Tuesday of each month, at the weekly marketing meetings. He gives in-depth explanations of legal issues affecting your daily real estate business. STANDARD FORMS - The Tallahassee Board of REALTORS® Standard Forms Committee, in cooperation with the TBR Legal Counsel, has devised a number of standard real estate business forms to help you work more efficiently and to comply with various city, county and state laws. Forms are provided free of charge to Board members. Many TBR forms are available through the Members Only section of our website (www.TBRnet.org). FAR Standard Forms can be accessed through the Planet Realtor website.

ARBITRATION - When Board members from different offices are involved in a commission dispute arising out of a real estate transaction, the Professional Standards Chairperson will assemble an experienced panel of Board members to conduct a fair and impartial hearing. Strict adherence to due process and NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Arbitration Rules and Policies is assured.

DISTRICT VIII PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE - A wealth of educational opportunities and an opportunity to network with your peers. This conference is held annually. Program details and schedules will be announced in the TALLAHASSEE REALTOR®.

ROSTERS - For a fee, TBR can email an Excel file containing the names and addresses of all TBR members.

USE OF BOARD FACILITIES - As a member of the TBR you are eligible to use the Board meeting rooms and facilities for both real estate related and non-real estate related purposes for a modest fee set by the Board of Directors.

REALTOR STORE - For your convenience, a REALTOR Store is located at the Board office offering many real estate related items: real estate calculators, home information tubes, rider signs, open house flags, and much more.
